Technology
At St. Benedict School, technology is used to enhance student learning. Each of the classes, from E.C.S. to 5, has a SMARTBoard to provide dynamic, interactive lessons.
Computers are integrated into all of the curriculum areas to provide opportunities for the students to learn ICT skills. Through word processing, PowerPoint, Internet research and curriculum supporting sites we enhance our students’ knowledge and skills by making use of our PC portable laptop lab. In addition each class has a pod of computers for individual and small group work. In using these technologies, our students are becoming active members in the information age.
