Parking

The first 15 stalls on either side of the North Parking Lot are designated for staff members and substitute teachers.  The remaining stalls just outside of the preschool portable which located beside the parking lot, are designated for preschool parents.

If you are a visitor of the school, or if you are volunteering in the school, please park along Alton Drive. There is also parking available in the bus loop, but only during non-peak hours. To allow for easy passage of our buses into and through the bus loop, please follow the following protocol which has been put in place for the safety of the children:

• In the morning, the first bus arrives at 8:15 a.m.  The second bus arrives shortly after that. Parent vehicles are not permitted in the driveway until BOTH buses are positioned.

 

• At the end of the school day, the buses arrive beginning at 2:45 and park in the designated marked area toward the end of the bus loop. Parent vehicles are not permitted in the driveway until BOTH buses are positioned.

 

Once the buses are parked, parents may drive into the bus loop and park on either side of the drive or in the middle lane. Parents are asked to wait in their vehicle for their children in their vehicles when they are picking children up after school.

Parent vehicles must remain in the loop until the buses leave. The buses must be the first vehicle to leave the loop. At the beginning of the day, buses are generally out of the loop by 8:25 a.m.  At the end of the day, they leave generally by about 3:00 p.m.

Once the busses have left the bus loop, parents may leave in an orderly manner.

Bus students will be escorted out the north door to their designated bus.
